Derby Rules

1. Competitors must be between 6 and 12 months and not yet walking. Competitors walking during competition will be disqualified.

2. Competition is open to residents of Monongalia and surrounding counties.

3. Registration for the competition begins at Noon at the Mylan Park Event Center on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Competition begins at 1:00 p.m.

4. Only two adults may accompany the baby at the “Racetrack.” At no time can the parent or guardian enter the boundaries of the “Racetrack.”

5. Babies will crawl the length of the “Racetrack” which will be 10’ x 10’. Should there not be a winner at the end of three minutes, the baby closest to the finish line will be declared the winner.

6. A registration fee of $10 is payable ONLY in cash or money order the day of the event. Checks will not be accepted.
