Monongalia County Fair Amateur Photo Contest
The Monongalia County Fair Photo Contest will consist of both a youth and adult level competition. Youth entries are limited to youth under the age of 15.
Categories for the photo contest are:
- People
- Nature
- Black and White
- Monongalia County Scenery
- Animals
- Miscellaneous
- Rules and Regulations
Entries will be accepted in person at the Hazel and J.W. Ruby Community Center at the fairgrounds at Mylan Park on Monday July 29th, 2013 from 10-5pm. Additional rules and regulations:
- Photos should be a minimum of 5” x 7” and a maximum of 8” x 10”
- No “professional” photographers may enter
- Photo matting is preferred
- Photos in frames will not be accepted
- Photos of an adult nature will not be accepted
- Photos taken prior to 2012 will not be accepted
Each photo shall be marked on the back with the following information:
- Name
- Phone Number
- Category
- Youth or Adult
- Where Taken
- Year Taken
- The Monongalia County Fair is not responsible for photos damaged during the fair
- Photos can be picked up on Sunday, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Photos left following that date will become property of the Monongalia County Fair
